Description
Position: Visual Merchandiser
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Reports to: Manager, Visual Merchandising

Position Overview:
Sur La Table is looking for the right person to join our dynamic creative team with experience working in-store visual merchandising and development.
Job Responsiblities: (including, but not limited to)
* Helps visual merchandising team develops look & feel of stores through in-store displays for visual merchandising documents.
* Participates in visual concept meetings, incorporating design ideas from many different points of view and producing displays that represent the Sur La Table brand.
* Project manages flow of visual supplies to both new and existing stores.
* Works with multiple teams of people: merchants, planners, store operations, & creative services to manage company-wide merchandising projects.
* Assists with Fixture development & sourcing.
* Works with stores & District Managers to determine best locations for new fixtures.
* Works as a team leader in store openings, teaching company merchandising goals to store opening teams.
* Provides production support for internal visual merchandising documents.
Job Requirements (including, but not limited to)
* Strong visual merchandising experience in home goods; high-end merchandise preferred.
* Ability to multi task and meet deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills: ability to provide written & verbal communication representing Sur La Table’s merchandising vision.
* Excellent follow up and project management skills.
* Experience with Photoshop & In Design preferred.
* Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment while flexible to change.
* Detail oriented.
* Team leadership experience preferred.
* Ability to travel.
